Wren and I tagged along with Sean for a work trip this early this week. It was mostly driving, with little adventures in little towns along the way which was nice. It was the first time I've visited many of these little gems so close to home and we made a little memory at each stop. One of our favourite stops was at a little beach island in a quiet lake community.

We spent a warm evening in the sand, all by ourselves. Collecting caterpillars...

  skipping rocks...

and making a mini rock collection to bring home.

It was a good excuse to make memories without doing anything more than hopping in the car.
