In The Fun Lane x Minda Home
I am sooooo so excited about today's post! A few months back my friend Melinda over at Minda Home asked if I would like to design a stocking for her holiday collection and I was over the moon to say YES!!! Because Minda Home has a very special tradition every year where they donate 1 stocking to homeless youth for every stocking sold AND 50% of the sales on the stocking I designed are going to the HOPE Mission, supporting homeless men, women, and children in our community! So I decided to come up with a stocking that is both traditional and timeless, and a little bit Holly.
The stocking is simple, woven from a natural cotton herringbone from Nepal, and adorned with an ultra soft pompom and just a touch of pink (on the hanging loop) with a set of brass jingle bells
We also added the Dasher stocking to our collection, now we each have a Minda Home stocking to cherish forever more. I love the tradition of having a stocking you will have until Wren is old enough to have her own traditions and family. I still used my child hood stocking until I was 25! And still have and cherish it.
The other addition to our holiday (which I know will now be out year round, not just during the holiday season) is the gorgeous Pom Blanket . I LOVE everything Melinda comes out with, it is so high quality and her pieces I have around the house are some of my most cherished items.
'All the stockings were hung with care'
Thank you so much to Melinda and Minda Home for bringing my creation to life and for being so generous and giving back this holiday season. That is the true spirit of the holidays, and it always refreshing to see a business supporting the idea that you get more when you give.
