So Long, Long Hair!
I am a little nervous right now and I feel like I just have to let it out or I might scream! I have a hair appointment in about an hour and I think I am going to chop off my hair.
We went swimming this morning with my mom and sister and while I had a blast my hair was literally wet until about an hour ago (I didn't have the luxury of drying it, which would be the obvious solution). When it is mid-February in our climate you don't want to even know how cold I was while out doing errands later on. So I picked up the phone when I got home to see if they had an opening, which they did for tonight.
I don't have a lot of time to think it over, which might be for the best! But when you barely have time to dig out a pair of socks to match your outfit, which is apparent in this shot from yesterday, you really don't have enough time to properly style long hair.
I have a cycle of growing and then chopping my hair every few years, always waiting until it drives me crazy then just cutting it to my ears.

I think I am ready to let it go! Although when it's gone I always fantasize about mermaid-like locks that are perfectly coiffed I think I will welcome the change this time with a 2 year old running wild.
*ps- to the canadian readers who emailed me last week when Whitney Port was on the Marilyn Dennis show, thanks for so much for making my day! However, I don't think the resemblence is as noticable in person, which is unfortunate for me.
